I really like the lighting and atmosphere. One thing I notice is that both the anteater and the bees have a house number, as if they both get mail and are treated to the same housing rights even though they're different species.
The atmospheric lighting is so subtle and yet creates such dramatic contrast within a limited color scheme (only brown and green!!!). The cast shadows (door) offer a realism that masterfully accents the fanciful light nature of the piece without disrupting the focal point and movement. This is a perfect example of aesthetic duality; how style can effect mood and vise-versa. I am awestruck and humbled.
